
American actor Thomas William Selleck. His first role was the private detective Thomas Magnum in the television series Magnum, P.I. The actor was nominated five times for Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor In the Drama Series (1980-1988) in the 1980-88 season, and won the Emmy Award in 1985. Since 2010, Selleck has been co-starring in the role of New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan in the series Blue Bloods. Since 2005, he's played the role of Jesse Stone, a troubled police chief in small-town New York City. Also, he's played in nine television films based on Robert B. Parker novels. Selleck has also played the character as Peter Mitchell, a bachelor architect in Three Men and a Baby (1987) as well as Three Men and a Little Lady (90).
