Kari Samantha (born on April 28, 1967) Wuhrer is an American actress and performer. Her career began when she was an teen and is most well recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders as well as her role as the Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), who is a payroll manager, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, a police officer and automobile salesman.
