Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actress and musician most well known for her work in Tamil and Malayalam films. Annayum Rasoolum Malayalam film is her Malayalam acting debut. Andrea Jeremiah is born to the same Anglo-Indian family living in the Arakkonam region of in Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father is a lawyer at the Madras High Court. Her younger sister is a research assistant from Belgium and is employed in Leuven. Jeremiah comes born in Chennai. She attended National Public School, and later graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight year old classical musician who was extremely geeky. At age 10 she was in a group called the Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the basis of her first performing and music composition career. The actress was also a stage student at her school and performed in a variety of stage plays organised by The Madras Players and EVAM. Andrea was the president of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's career started with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. She starred in a leo commercial along with actor Shiva. Also, she was a part of an episode that was retransmitted on Podhigai channel. The actress has also appeared roles in India. She appeared in a small part at the conclusion of Kanda Mudhal 2005. Gautham A. Menon invited her after she appeared in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu to appear as a leading female for Pachaikili Muthucharam. The film was an adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed, with Andrea as Kalyani a homemaker whose husband engages in an affair, and then is threatened with blackmail. Andrea was selected to play the character following the actresses Simran Shabana as well as Tabu were invited to audition for the film. It was first released in early the year 2010. She agreed in 2011 to play a minor support role in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha, which released in August 2011, The actress made her Malayalam film debut with Rajeev Rathi's Annayum Rasoolum in the year 2013.
