Dua Lipa was born on 22nd august 1995, in London, United Kingdom. After working as a fashion model and songwriter, she decided to sign with Warner Bros Records and release her debut album entitled "Dua Lipa" in 2017. The album reached No. 3 on the U.K. Charts. The album had eight songs released such as Be the 1 I.D.G.A.F. as well as New Rules. In the United States it peaked as number 6. Anesa Laxha and Dukagjin Lipa. Her parents are of Bosnian origin by her maternal grandmother. She can trace her ancestry back to Peja, a city in Kosovo. The grandparents of Lipa were both historians. There are two sisters, Rina as well as Gjin. Lipa was heavily influenced by her father, who is the principal guitar player and the singer of the Kosovan band Oda.
